2. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in (for example with email, phone, Google, or Facebook through Firebase Authentication), we may store your display name, email address, phone number, profile photo URL, and internal user identifier.
App activity & preferences
We store preferences you set in the app, such as theme, language, favorite teams or players, match alert subscriptions, and notification settings.
Device & push notifications
If you enable notifications, we collect a push notification token and basic device metadata needed to deliver alerts. On Android we may use Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Usage & diagnostics
We collect technical logs and performance metrics (for example app version, API errors, and load timings) to keep the service reliable. On Android, Firebase Performance may be used for anonymized traces.
Payments
If you purchase premium features through Google Play, payment is processed by Google. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers from Google — not your full payment card number.
Information we do not intentionally collect
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.
3. How we use information
- Provide live scores, content, and personalized features
- Authenticate you and secure your account
- Send match and product notifications you opt into
- Process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse
- Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve the product

4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we rely on contract performance (providing the app), legitimate interests (security and improvement), consent (marketing or optional notifications), and legal obligation.
5. Sharing with service providers
We share data with processors that help us run QuickScore, such as:
- Cloud hosting and database providers for our API
- Google Firebase (authentication, messaging, performance)
- Cricket data partners that supply match and player statistics
- Google Play for in-app purchases
These providers may only use data on our instructions and must protect it appropriately.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure may be located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
7. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or security purposes. Backups may persist for a limited time before rotation.

9. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and hashed credentials where passwords are used. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
